Who is it for
This is a great bed if your dog spends a lot of time outside or if you travel a lot. I like that the bed is elevated and padded so that our older dog doesn’t have to deal with lying on the cold ground and getting stiff and sore.
I like that it is raised given the joint problems older dogs can have. I wish I had found out about this bed when I had my last dog.
But I’m so glad I found it now for my current pup. It’s also small and portable and is great for fitting into a camper, or into the corner of a room if you visit people in their home, or want a bed you can store away in your own house. Our older dog loves this bed no matter where we put it!
Materials & Construction
The frame is made of steel that is powder-coated to prevent rust. One of the big pluses is that the frame snaps together easily, so you won’t need to remember to bring any additional tools with you. The anti-rust coating ensures that the pieces of the bed will fit together and be easy to assemble for a long time.
I like that the cover is made from a material that can be taken off and washed. That helps so much and makes maintenance easier. Pets always track dirt onto beds and other surfaces when they’re outside, or even inside sometimes.
It’s nice that the bed covers are removable for washing. You can also use a damp towel for spot cleaning as well. This bed can last a lot longer because you can wash it and don’t have to throw it out when it gets too gungy.
The durability of the material will help save you money in the long run. The sturdiness will help you be able to keep the bed and not need a new one for quite a while.
